ive spoke to the guys about the low compression turbo kit i think if what they say is right then its worth the money
good power increase plus grin factor of a turbo and if yozza starts to sell them it takes away the factor of taking it in for faults etc
so come on fred sort it am sure they will sell well

So every little bolt, gasget, tube, exhaustmanifold etc. will be in there, manual included

I spoke to MB about this, also do'nt want the gay noise :nono: so asked them for a recirculating one, this would be no problem. Just this afternoon i heard an old familiar boxer sound pass by, real nice (scoob) until it went -psssj-

Also forgot to mention you get the airbox replaced, this will be one with a panel filter.

Working on the 182 version. First wanted to do the 172 cause there's a bigger market.

It's important for them to first get an amount of 'em out there , running about killing BMW's and other slow cars :quiet:

Why not just get the low boost Ktec offering? I ran a similar set up on a pug 1.9 gti for two years, nil problems. lol you're all getting terribly excited about something that may take years to see the light of day, if ever.

yeh we've seen this happening before hahhaha , but he was talking of the stuff going into production this Oktober so i'm guessing they are finishing up as we speak

If the Ktec low boost has proven itself this is ofcourse also a way to go !

But why even run a re-circ? 7 psi will be no problem without and the throttle response is massively improved. I ran 28psi with no dumpvalve and no problems for a fair while on my old car.

If you want a far cooler noise 'chatter' is the way, tho id use an airbox to reduce this.

Get in touch with Maurice (MB) or Henk Fastchip, you'll spend half an hour on the phone though because they are enthousiastic in explaining stuff to you

i need to ask a huge favour dont know if this is the right section but since its on the topic of turboing anyway, i want to invest my cash and purchase a turbo kit for my clio 172 ph2 but im faced with the dilema of not living in the vincity of these shops i live in trinidad and tobago in the caribbean and if i buy one of these they would have to ship it to me...which is not the problem

i have tried for months upon months to find a detailed video on you tube and other video related sites to get a better understanding of what a turbo clio performs like all i can work with is pictures and information but i would also like to acquire some practical applications since making a purchase like this is irriversable since i live in the caribbean....so im kindly asking if any of you that do have turbo kits on your clio could just take out a digital camera and make a small video so i can get some practical applications of the turbo

i talked to david at ktec but he said they are in the process of making videos of their kit but till now still in progress i guess i can only base my judgements on what the people who have it say it does but im asking kindly if someone can make me a video so i can see it for myself before i make a purchase you can pm me and i can give you my email if that amounts.. also im particularily interested because in my country which is mainly japanese oriented in cars evos/skylines/sti's/rx's they are very little renaults only 5 172's and trinidadians hate the renault brand...reason is probably our ignorance but i love this car and want to do this to prove a point that it can be worthwhile and equally fun as all those other jap turbo cars...
so in closing again if this is the wrong section to post this i am sorry but can someone who has a turbo clio just make me a couple videos such as acceleration/ top speed/ verbal documentation or run down of car and specs along with additional tid bits..
i would be gratefully thankful because it will aid in my purchasing decision
