Speedline 2110. Epicness personified.

Only one car in here has done something different from the norm, so far.

The rest just don't have Turinis.

:S

i love how the op asked for something different to the clio scene and so far we have bar 1 car, a load of clios with a set of renault wheels painted a different colour! lol

You still had a reading fail.

"Brought anything different to the clio scene"

To clarify I'm looking for Clios without the usual cookie cutter style mods of a set of Speedlines and coilovers or lairy bullets, wheels and/or mirror caps.

Only thing I've done different is black TD Pro Race 1.2. Wish I'd gone for trophy spoiler instead of cup now :(

Not really, your original post could be taken in a number of different ways.

Anyone one on here brought anything different to the Clio scene? If so post em up (and by different I do not mean gash).

Yes, i brought a saxo to the scene, everyone mocked it at 1st, then realised how epic it was. I brought it along to clio meets, & brought it along to a track day at Llandow.

If you're a dipsh1t, ie 80% of members on here, brought also means bought. Someone here bought a Bora, which to 80% of people here, means he brought something different to the Clio scene.

I would genuinely like to see this thread filled with some original cars/mods if anyone on here has dared to be different and pulled it off.

Clio with Speedline 2110's. There is one, on the internet, that i posted. No one on here has them on a clio, they all bum 2118's & 2120's ... You want different, look at Ph-Reebone's threads.

Don't confuse ambiguity with a lack of reading comprehension. Either yours, or assumed on the part of the less literate on this site.

A Saxo last time I checked is not a Clio so regardless of whether you posted pictures on here or attended meets with it that's not what I requested. The very fact this thread is in Clio media should have been a hint I wasn't looking for pictures of Saxo's, VW's etc.

Hey I've been out of the loop for a while, surely someone has managed to break away from the sheep mentality by now?

Btw I'm in the middle of tying up all the pics and clips for that thread I PM'd about ;) I await the haters lol

You mean showing no taste just to be different? lol

1. Taste is subjective.
2. Taste is not defined by the fitment of coilovers and a set of one of two types of Speedline alloy wheels.

Do I need to remind people of Williams car? The German guy with a 1.2 with a bunch of different to the norm mods that was tastefully executed.

Actually a fair comment, TBH.

The Turini's and other "sheep" additions work so well which is why folk have them. It's an interesting thread, mind. I'm sure it will progress well

You mean grind to a halt because nobody can show any ingenuity or vision and just slaps the usual parts on because they're a safe bet.

I've no issues as such with 2118's or Turinis they are popular for a reason but it's been done to death and I wanted to see a thread with something different.

I'm not looking for different for the sake of it mods that look like ass, I'm looking for some unusual or individual mods/cars that work well. Suggesting 2118's or the usual handful of mods are the only ones that can work is a little close minded ;)

This thread is interesting and would be good to see what is out there, that isn't the norm. I think turini's look superb and are popular for that reason but no harm in thinking out of the box.

maybe people could take some tips off this guy! - (Barryboys content) :rasp:

no no seriously Si, Unless you add a kit to the clio (which looks stupid) exterior mods what else do u expect other than, changed alloys, splitter and lowered?

  172 Ph1, 1972 Mini 1
No more info im afraid, i think i picked up their catalogue so might have a page in there, i was mainly after racing wheels for the mini but they had those for the clio.

I know that in 15" they weight <4kg and they are forged but thats it.

Will see what i can dig up.

Just f**king lock the thread. This is getting stupid now.

Don't I may have taken the p**s but there must be something out there that is different without going to the extremes of stupid body kits ...:approve:

I expect whatever people can find/do, assuming they have some imagination.

I've already mentioned Willaims car. That looked good, didn't have the usual mods and wasn't the result of the retarded alternatives you and the other clowns have posted up.

something different....

Matt Wills car, it might have the turini's on but its different to most trophy's you see.

TBH all this thread is telling me is that PH2 clios look their best on thin multispoke wheels of various designs. Yes turinis and F1's are done to death but thats coz they look good.

And in terms of originality it seems to be fairly well accepted that other than a splitter and lowering theres no real body mods to do, they look good as is!

turkish is was bound to happen mate, people on here don't seem to understand the word different... ok turinis and a drop does look very good, and i am sure turkish will stand by me and say it looks good,

however its not different, and then when someone posts a thread about being different people become ignorant of the word, post the same old sh*t and then try and justify it with b*llocks

a couple from me...
