turned off all fire walls and limewire still wont work, help

ive turned off all the fire walls i can see on my computer and lime wire still wont connect, a little globe with bricks over it is showing at the bottom left on the screen, any ideas??

Have you restarted limewire since making the changes to your FW?

I'd uninstall Limewire and subscribe to a decent newsgroup or if you want a torrent client just get bittorrent and use piratebay etc.. or aradi tracker..

or if you must... use frostwire.. limewire without the crap..

i had the same problem with limewire, wouldnt connect, just stuck on starting connection

i tried a different download and it connected fine

yer ok will try that frostwire, limewire keeps doing this 2 me, if i dont use it for say a month it will just not connect, heap of shite

You may as well just start a blog asking people to send you viruses. Would save you the hassle of trying to get limewire to work.

Frostwire is good for the odd and older songs.. and just be wary to v.scan the files.
