Turning my automatic headlights on.

Car  Clio 182
Basically the other night i was out in ma 182 and the automatic headlights were working. I pulled over and was fiddling with the control stalks then when i started the car back up ma automatic headlights had stopped working. Now how do i turn them back on?

In the user manual, but ignition off, turn from off/auto on the stalk to sidelights to off/auto to sides & you should hear a beep, then put back to auto & you're done.

On the dyna switch the engine off and flick the headlights on and off twice .. so yeah its the same :)

Hi tryed this herd the beep still doesn't work and strangely when they stopped working the lights on the climate control stop working too and ideas

Hi

My cars lights, front wipers and indicators are turning themselves on and off intermittently. The auto electrician has said there are no faults nor any lose connections or wires. Has this happened to anybody else?

Cheers

Well it certainly isn't a feature so I'd be questioning if your auto electrician has actually had a proper look.

I'd be checking for bad earth to begin with.

What I would suggest would be tricky to do unless you have a wiring diagram.

I would check to see with a diagram what links the affected parts together and work from there. I would have said it was down to a cut wire/short.
