right this could get confusing....

i currently have a tv with a seperate video player in my room, the setup has an arial lead going to the video player..then from the video player it goes to an external ariel.

now i am trying to add a dvd player....there are 2 leads with it - a scart lead and an audio/visual lead (red, yellow and white ports)

now the tv is old and doesn't have a scart and no other ports bar the ariel, i have tried several ways but i am stuck..

can someone shead some light please..

plug the scart from DVD into the vcr socket named vcr/decoder. Put your tv on video channel and set your vcr to the AV (or similar) channel. Play a dvd and it should come through onto the tv but quality will be reduced!

no, just leave your normal aerial leads connected as they were before buying the dvd player.
