Type Of Central Locking

jus installin an alarm with central locking system and need to know a few things for the MK1 PH1 1.4RT 1993

1. Is it High or Low type

2. is it an earthed switched system or a positive switched system

Doesnt it have central locking already?

Cant you tap into the button in the middle to do it? I think thats what most people do unless you dont have central locking!

i got central locking but this alarm does the central locking as well so i need to hook it up to the drivers door act...thinging or rather... but it needs me to find out what type the central locking is so i can hook the other wires up
