Type R aerial on clio

just seen a post with someone flogging a load of these. I know there a lot shorter so just wondered if anyone can tell me from experiance, do you still get good radio signal? i.e as good as with standard clio aerial

ordered one so i am not bothered about the signal more interested in the look of it i just play my ipod through my car
