just had my car into renault for the resistor on the blowers and handbrake, blowers got done on warranty but they qouted me £106+vat for a handbrake cable fitted! any1 know how much the cables cost and is it a big job or are they fillin my head with cartoons!!

H/Brake Cable is £30-40 incl. VAT (dependent on which 172 you have), iirc...

£70+VAT for labour is a BARGAIN!! :rasp:
