Tyre Size Help

Currently running the OE 18 inch wheels 18x7.5J with ET55 and I have 16mm front spacers with Cooksport springs so I believe that brings the offset to ET39?

New wheels are 17x7.5J ET46 and I would need to remove the spacers, but I'm not sure what tyre size to go.

215/40/17
215/45/17
225/45/17 (I think will be too aggressive and rub)

I have used the various wheel/tyre calculators online, but I'm not very good with this type of stuff. I was hoping I could run 215/45, but I'm worried about rubbing. Should I just play it safe and go with 215/40? Thinking about AR1s for reference.

Should be almost identical diameter and offset wise, running 215/45/17

I think this will be the safest setup as I did get a little rubbing on compression at Cadwell so bringing them in a little should help.

Probably be a bit nicer with offset closer to standard too.

Yeah in by 7mm.

Sidewall will look ~10mm chunkier.
