Can anyone explain what is the difference between ZR and R rating

On my 182 with cup sup pack, I have Mich. PE2 ZR's, front has 87W and rear 83W all are ZR rated.

Is it right that the cup-sup cars had stiffer side-walls and is that anything to do with the load or ZR rating -is there a reason the fronts have 87W's or could that be not by choice but an availability problem for the previous owner?

its just the speed rating and with the load ratings, hazarding a guess the previous owner was probably thinking as most of the weight is on the front wheels they would put higher rated tyres o nthe front
