On my 172 cup I had Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres which were excellent in dry and wet and cost £50 a corner from mytyres.co.uk

Im running Mich Pilot Exaclto's 2 now and they are even better but cost about £80 a corner.

On your cup go for 16R 195W 40 83v

I've been quoted £92 each for Exalto2s at a place near me...including balancing and fitting.

The size is 195 45 R16 82V (from memory) but some people run 205s for more rubber contact on the road.

I've never had an issue with Contisport contacts (the original 172Cup tyres) and they're £75-£80 per corner

^^^^^^ donny you need to call me , the place that jayhunt suggested to me do the conti's at 65.95 a corner (all in) ..

Personally I'd match what ever is on the rear, assuming they are decent.

PE2, Toyo Proxies, F1's are all worthy tyres.

Give me a PM with some details mate, as need a new one at end of month! Might even go for a pair, and use the one I bought last month as a spare tyre for when I get the spare wheel!!!
