basically i had a set of springs on my car, they were shite and i regret buying the basically, took the back ones off ages ago and only got round to putting the standard fronts on today...

once i had the standards back on all round, its got 1million times more bodyroll, but it seems to grip so much better, and also it looses grip on the back end now before the front, doesnt seem to make much sense...

get more tyre squeal aswee

basically, why is it?
and i am giving it some with both lowered and normal springs on...

The back end will go due to the fact theres more roll so back will become lighter as weight is transferred

I can understand this being the case on bumpier roads where the harders suspension may struggle to keep the tyres on the road but on smooth roads it doesn't make sense.

Are you sure it isn't psycological as you feel yourself moving in the seat more due to the increased body roll?

^ aha mark i see, i like it, makes roundabouts much more fun!

used to have to really flick it to make it go slightly, but now its really easy!

thats what i though, it just seems as if the turn in is so much sharper...i know its hard to say and judge between the 2, but just seems more responsive!

I can flick the back end out on mine then catch it again
Its all going to end in tear thoughs if im not too careful!

on bumpy roads my mums standard dynamique handles better than mine (probably due to my temp. 16s thats ive got on while my 15s are getting new tyres) but on normal roads mine is MUCH better

mine were dodgy cheap springs that were fucked though to be honest...

im really happy how it does handle though, miss the lowness though :(

Stock setup is superb realy no springs are realy going to improve on the whole setup Renault made hence why you need to spend a fortune to get any better.

^ yeah, i think the springs just lessened the body roll, but they were too low for standard shocks, hopefully they wont have done any damage, only been on for 3 months!

Difficult to know they will have reduced the life of the shock then again I had to change mine at 50k as there were worn on stock springs all theere life Black Kro has springs on his for 50k and still is happy with them.
