Under drivers seat switch

Whats the PTM/PTB switch for under the drivers seat? It's attached to the pretensioner I believe

it determins how far away from the wheel you are to decide how quick the airbag comes on or something to that effect, basically stops it blowing your head off in a minor crash

So doesnt really matter if its pressed or unpressed. It broke of the seat.

Where exactly is this switch located ?

on one of the seat runners on the drivers seat.
Should only affect you if your a short person and have the seat close to the steering wheel

I'd want it on myself seeing as its to do with the airbags just incase. Renault wouldn't have put it there if it wasn't needed.

erm....ive fully refitted the interior, and this switch had come loose from somewhere....cant figure where it reattaches, dosent seem to have any holes for it to screw in etc......does anyone have a diagram or picture of where it goes onto the runner?

Its rivets in to a place in the middleish of left hand inner runner iirc.

hmmm dosent seem to have any snapped off bits on the switch, looks inact.

Ive just found a PDF you posted a while back bmh, i can see where it goes now.....il have to have a look for a rivet later
