Understeer :(

Car  Arctic Blue 182 Baby!
I have a standard 182 and was out in the car tonight noticed I was getting lots of understeer eg... coming off a round about planted in 2nd gear at 20mph the car practiaclly when straight on! The car never use to do this any idea what it could be ? tyres + pressures seems fine :S

any help appreciated :)

What pressures ? 32 front 31 rear in these conditions and im getting little or none.

What tyres do you have

imo its down to the damp/wet conditions! Any thing front wheel drive with a bit of poke will not steer atal if its even damp! If its doing it in the dry theres something wrong

yeah the conditions have been cold/damp for a while, im running pilot exalto's all round, I'll have to wait and see what it's like over the weekend hopefully it'll dry up and I can get some hooning done to give it a test. :)

tires cant heat up properlly cos the roads so cold, mines been doin it alot too, jus have wait for that sunshine.

throttle control ftw. ;)

I agree! If you plant your foot with the wheel turned too much you will get minimal grip and the front will push wide. Understeer is common with FWD though. Have some fun with it and do some lift of oversteer

PE2's are not the best in the wet, but still great tyres. In car parks on full lock mine squeek/slips when its wet with minimal revs.
