Uniroyal Rainsport 2 question

Sorry, probably a quick one......

Just wondering if anyone that has these could let me know if the 195/45/16 has a rim protector?

Also, are they REALLY the bomb?

Im ditching some old Avon ZV5's to be replaced with these, the Avon's were a bit, well....slimy.

my XL Rainsport 2's have them yes - I wouldnt put another tyre on mine, been excellent since day one

odd cos i had rainsports on my cup and ripped them off a week later. sidewalls too hard, made it twitchy as hell

Uniroyals are made by Continental.
