Unlocking iphone 4S- Is it easy?

Looking at getting a second hand 4S on vodafone, there is websites that claim to unlock them for a few £s, is it easy to do?

No. Not properly.

You can software unlock with jailbreaks, but its by no means permanent or reliable.

Not sure, it should but probably doesn't.

o2 iPhone will work on giffgaff as thats what i've been using for a while.

Looking on eBay, was just using it as example really, turns out the seller is completely unable to construct a sentance so not buying from him.
