just spitballing atm until Jenic or Feirny put the official convoy thread up, but as said I think we should lay out a route and get everyone possible in on it

don't see why not, its more direct than LFE this year...

so far we have: Woodall services, Peterborough services, then onto CSS (obligatory pics at each stop)

how many people can we get in on this?

route is fairly flexible atm, throw idea's into the thread! worst that can be said is no. we may as well find level ground for as many people as possible!

All i am worried about at the moment is that he gets his MOT passed beginning of feb, hes off to the garage on the 26th for pre mot work so im PRAYING they dont find anything major that I dont already know about! I just am ITCHING to get this car on the bloody road now! And this month is going SO f**king slowly it hurts

I'm assuming the Yorkshire lot will set up a convoy later on so ill come down with them and no doubt we will all meet up somewhere along the way

It's on my way. Wouldn't mind joining at Peterborough services as the Yorkshire lot will be going past P'boro services anyway.But I don't mind going it alone to Bar Hill.

Bar hill tesco is all of about 1 mile of detour, and perfect for a mid-way stop for food/drink/car-wipes/ a dump.

We'll have to exchange numbers nearer the time, but Id imagine you lot will be easy to spot....and Listerine is pretty hard to miss

so we will set the route if everyone is agree'd?

Yorkshire lot all meet at Woodall services, then head from there to the Bar hill tesco to meet everyone else and head to CSS!

That's not to say you can't get people tagging along to each stop, i.e. I could meet knight rider at the roundabout for the A630 off the A1 and anyone else that wanted to meet there that are local to doncaster/huddersfield as the A1 would be the main route for the first bit etc etc...

Just need to set times like last year and if someone misses that time they can meet at the next stop although there will be a slight allowance for late comers

will mention this to any other convoys taking a similar route tonight when I get chance to have a look properly
