  Turbos.
This season the Elise will be in the Elise Cup UK and Europe. Despite the name, it is for Elises, Exiges and 211s. The majority are production-based classes, but there is a modified class which we will be in. Only downside is you have to run A048 tyres instead of slicks.

The NSX will mainly be testing this season, but will do the occasional Britcar round. Britcar you may have seen on TG, because they did the 24hr race at Silverstone in the diesel 3-Series.

My dad i both race (we originally did Britcar because it was a 2 driver format). We have a race team in Essex and everything is self-funded.

Awesome mate, would love to get into something like that, but must be a lot of money.

First photo of one of the cars on track from last week...

For me the wrap looks a bit odd, like the car is out of proportion! Maybe just need to get used to it. Does look less messy now though...

But i'll miss the depth of colour from Azure Blue! Looked awesome in the sun.

Getting more photos of both cars tomorrow, and first race at the weekend :)

Looks good, The air scoops down the side are alot less obvious on the wrapped car, makes it look narrow at the back

Azure is such a special colour though mate.

Looks great either way, f**k asthetics!

Just realised the difference. The front clam has been moved closer to the floor, so they've put a standard Exige splitter on. You can see how much deeper the Motorsport splitter is in this (smashed up!) pic...

Think i'll have to get them to change it back after the race! Looks weedy now.

Fantastic looking cars, good luck in the Elise Cup, I looked at doing the Elise Trophy a couple of years back but cost of bending a chassis put me off.

I used to have an Azure S1, really miss that car...

Looks mint with the wraps on.

Are they hard to take off if you needed to or would you have to pay someone to get it removed?

Sam.

You can get them off easily enough. If you leave them on for years then they are more difficult, and more likely to damage the paint. Repairs to the wrap would need the pros though...

What did you make of the new layout? You didn't sound keen before your visit.

Saw this morning Palmer named one of the corners after that racing legend - Jonathan Palmer. Such a modest man.

LOL!

That is Rob Barff in the car. My first go is tomorrow... Rob said he liked it, so hoping i will be swayed!

Then buy my Trophy car that is freshly painted in Azure :D

I would have bought that off you already 2 years ago!

What's it like? Changed the feel of the circuit much?

I was at Snetterton last week and liked it a lot (though I hadn't been on the old layout for comparison). Flows really nicely, the infield isn't too Mickey Mouse but the more powerful cars still have two opportunities to stretch their legs. Surface is nice and smooth and spectators should have better viewing too.

I've only heard good feedback so far so maybe we'll have to forgive Mr. Palmer's little ego trip with the corner naming!

This is the second NSX, which is the same as last season's.

Actually, no, Go Green isn't a joke LOL. The idea is to look beyond the tip of the iceberg (the car) and consider the environment through its preparation. We are talking to the Motorsport Association about having a basic level of environmental responsibility throughout all motorsport.

whats happened to the first one?? thought you were going wide body??
