Upgrading Laptop HDD

Ok then guys, have bought a new HDD upgrade for my laptop, has anybody ever used anything like this:

To clone the data onto the new disk?

It would then also allow me to use the old disk as a usb backup using this caddy?

Any advice?

Just get your second hard drive and caddy and use Norton ghost to transfer all the data onto your hard drive .

I used it once a few years ago so there might be better programs out there now to do it .
