Upgrading to a Performace Clutch, help...

Since my first 1/4 miling has been done, my clutch cable has gone, what a b*st*rd I tell ya. Looks like I am gonna need a new clutch too and figure I may aswell get an uprated one.

Anyhoot, what do I go for from the following or are there any alternatives:?

The two companies also do discount, but cant remeber which is 5% and which is 10%.

On BBs site they also do a soft pedal conversion or something, I thought thats what happened anyway when you get an uprated clutch. Can someone please enlighten me, thanks.

Andyspares.com 5GTT clutch, same as the BB effort but less than half the price.

Soft pedal, its for gay boys and girls, basically alters the pivot point.

i got K-tecs grp-n clutch and cant say i can complain about its fine!!

the soft clutch is pants, i drove a valver with it on and it felt wierd, very springy without the pressure(if that makes sense), stick with a firm clutch, you know you wanna!

Yeah, the cup is a b**ch to drive slowly cos you never know where the bites gonna be, but at least in the willy you know that youve reached it when it bites your leg off!

glad to see its not just me then. im always stalling my cup, ive never driven anything like it in the clutch department.

Since K-tec was closed and there was no one around to ask, I had to make a choice and I opted for the BB Tunning uprated clutch.

Cheers Chris H for the advice I probably have spend more than I should have done, but hopefully this may have a longer life span, I dunno will have to wait and see. I tell you changing gear is a b*tch, cant get it into first and have to switch ignition off to get into reverse and its costing 150 big ones to get it fitted, crazy

I got the 5gtt uprated clutch in mine, drove it yesterday for the first time. not that impressed. doesnt feel as good as the clutch i had in my last engine (standard renault) Dunno if it takes a bit to bed in or what. although it could be my clutch cable playin up again. its loads lighter too. i miss the stiff clutch lol.
