Gearbox gets replaced underwarranty for cracked casing in may

gearbox casing cracks again 9months after but car is outta warranty because i had the first service done elsewhere

shouldnt the box be replaced free of charge? what effect would servicing have on the gearbox?

if this was an engine problem then i wouldnt be asking but am i right in thinking that the gearbox needs little attention until a certain amount of miles?

all new parts should have 1 years warrenty so it will be covered

i would of thought that a gear box would have a 1 year warrenty on it.



like if your car was 5 years old and it needed a new box and you payed out for 1 they genrally come with a 12 month warrantee, so i cant see yours being any different.
