urgent help... How to lock 182 drivers door when battery is dead or faulty

Need urgent help.
I am away working and girlfriend has borrowed my Clio 182 sport.
Unfortuantely it appears the Alternator has gone faulty (Puff of smoke) and taken the battery with it.
She has it sat on the drive but we are unable to secure the drivers door as it doenst have a manual lock.

Can anyone help with some information please.
There isnt a spare car battery to connect
Girlfriend has some limited technical knowledge.
Unable to connect a new battery as the alternator starts smoking etc.

Battery is dead? The lock button uses power. Unless you physically tie something to the door then too something in the car

Just leave it unlocked? Surely they can't start it with no battery!
