Urgent help! My windows wont work on my 172!!

The both front windows of my 172 have stopped working, the driver side wont go down and the passanger side will go down but wont go back up? I had 2 put my car in the garage cos its raining. Does anyone why they have stopped working?

Relay panel inside LH door thing on the dash, does it click when you switch them..

Can you work out which one it is, and if one is the same in another location, can you swap it over to test it..?

well the drivers window doesnt click when u press it 2 go down, but does when press it 2 go up. the passenger windows makes a click sounds when the window goes down but doesnt when prees the button for it 2 go up. Does ne1 know where the relays r 4 the windows? dont think its a fuse otherwise the passenger window wouldnt hav gone down. Could it be something 2 do with the heavy rain we've been having the past week?

Its a fuse. the relays are built into the uch

in the fuse box.?

open passenger door, look at dash, next to glove box, little panel next to door pillar on dash, open it and you shall find..

Nah it aint my fuse, i just checked. I heard from other people it could be the UCh thats has gone, I only had it replaced 4 weeks ago when my central locking wouldnt work. so looks like i'll be on the phone to renault, good job its got a 12 month warranty!

does the passenger one work from the passenger side switch? ie not the dual controls on the drivers door?

the passenger switch does the same as well. also when my passanger window switch on both sides is pressed down the window relay clicks, also the wondow goes down but its all the way down now. lol. but when i press the switch for the window to go up, there is no clicking noise. the same goes for the drivers window but in opposite directions. so i guess its the relays gone in the UCH.
