Urgent Help Needed ASAP

On way home tonight i caught my wiper stalk while driving along the motorway at around 85mph and my wipers went half way up my dry front windscreen and then stopped and then i popped it on fast and then they crawled up the dry screen about another inch and then stopped dead and would not go back down.

I got to the services and pulled in to find that my wipers would not do anything (go up or down) so im guessing that he linkage has gone or the motor has packed in.

I have found one on Ebay thats about a 35min drive from me but im unsure of how to get into the linkage and the wiper motor at the front. Please can someone point me in the right direction as if it rains or there is a mist in the morning icant really use the car as i have nothing to wipe the screen with.

On the other hand if anyone has one laying about and can get it to me today (Friday) that would be even better.

There is also NO CLICKING coming from the relay but as i have no idea where the relay is located i cant change it or swap it with anything. My cheaper choice is to go with the relay first so if anyone can tell me exactly where the front wiper relay is also that would be good.

Have you checked the fuse first to see if it's blown?

Going to check fuse and relay first but I'm heading into Renault to see my mate as he is MOTing a car for me today so going to ask him to check it. Just hope it's not a UCH panel or what ever it's called

The joint between the wiper stalk and the linkage is a bit of a weakpoint, although it's odd for both to go at once.

My bet is fuse, relay or linkage. I've got linkages kicking about if you need one cheap.

Been to up to see my two mates in renault and wipers are now working. Relay and fuse had both went so they spent 10mins changing them for me. Got a spare couple of 20amp fuses just incase it blows again.

So happy that its not a motor or linkage.

I never even done that LOL, Someone else did.

The wiper motor and linkage that i found was only £30 so it would not have been that bad money wise
