URGENT: How to restart with a flat battery?

  Mito Sportiva 135
Hi guys, I need some help urgently as meant to be driving back to Reading for work very soon. Basically, been cleaning my car with the radio on and lost track of time, and now the battery seems flat. The radio was still working before I turned it off so some life left, but when I used the central locking it sounded a bit hesistant. When I turned the key in the ignition it made the usual "click" sound.

I can't find my instrcution manual anywhere, and need to get moving soon. I have my mums car and some cables, but have been warned that Renaults aren't as simple as that to get moving, something to do with the immobiliser.

1000 rupees to any kind advice giver! I can't stress how important it is I get it started, I am 100% screwed if I can't get back tonight :(

Cheers so much for any advice you can offer.

Join the red jump lead to the positive terminal of your car battery (plastic sleeve needs removing from the bettery if its still there)
Then join the other end of that red lead to the positive terminal on the other car battery.
Join the black lead from the negative terminal on the other car and the other end of that cable to a big metal bit of your car engine the listing point is a good idea.

Start car

Undo wires the oposite way they have been connected up.
