Urgent question

On a mk2 172, are the alarm sensors actuall mounted on the tops of the windscreen pillar? as in srcewed into? or are they suposed to be moulded in?



Just i went to look at a 172 yesterday its a uk car (suposedly) but the sensors just dont look factory, but then maybe there like that?

HELP would be much appreciated asap!

They are screwed in, they are put on at the dockside when they come to Britain.

UK ones are delived and fitted with alarms at the dockside.

Imports are offten fitted with the same alarm in the same places by the same trained people so you cannot tell.
