USB memory problem?

Hey guys,

I've got a ScanDisk 8GB USB drive

I'm having trouble trying to put things onto it if i go onto 'info' to see how much space i've used and how much i've got left it says;

I've used 1.6GB
Got left; 168mb

How can that be? not even used a quarter of the memory but it won't let me put anything more than a few songs!!

Can anything be done?

Right click it iirc! It may also be in the ring format as you're using it on a mac!

Empty trash.

OS X won't actually remove the files until you empty the trash. If you've deleted anything on it then the files will still be there, just in another folder and hidden.
