Be very careful and read up first.

Outside is fine but not in hot weather or rain lol.

By the time you'v bought all the products / pads / polishes you would probably be best to get someone who knows what they are doing to do it for a few ££.

Russ @ Midlands car care is great but he's fully booked until the end of September!

You might be able to find a local "part time" detailer who would do it.

I bet you would spend £200 on everything you would need anyway!

My advice is as follows:

IF you are wanting to get fully involved in maintaining your car to a good standard then go out and buy all the kit and practice.

IF not, pay someone to do it.

You will have no worries using one outside, don't get so hung up about it.

I would get a scrap door/bonnet or something and have a little practice first.

Is this kit ok too start me off?

That kit is not bad, but on top of that you're going to need spot pads for tighter locations, such as the door pillars and round bumpers etc. As above, you'll need to spend £200 before you touch the paint.

The question is, are you going to be ablet to keep your paint free from swirls once you've sorted the paint? I'd be more keen to suggest getting a hobbyist off here to correct, then teach you how to maintain. Most cost effective way in my eyes as most just charge enought to cover a bit of time and products used, as it's for fun, rather than a business.
