using to much fuel

i havr a 52 reg clio 172, recently noticed it has only been doing 200 miles to the tank, not ragging it. I have checked the usual, filter, tyres sparks etc, but all seems ok. does anyone have any ideas ??

What does the MPG gauge say?

Fuel filter or air filter?

Brakes binding?

does not misfire, mpg gauge says 30, has new brakes fitted, am at a loss

Mpg on it should be into the 40's with combined driving. I think my dad used to get 45 mpg from his. That includes a bit of heavy right foot action on the odd occasion too.

mines the same, does have a slight pop on tick over, my mpg gauge reas 23.8. i get around 200 out of a tank. im thinking a lamba is shagged? or even the map sensor?
