GAZ - hum, tough one really
all the ones i've looked after have been a bit of a pain
had to file out the holes to get them on, and then spend ages c**king about with ride heights/damping etc to get it to handle at an optimum level
they're quite decent on track, not not the best on road, but then again GAZ don't have the R&D budget of the big name german companies!
it depends on budget too, GAZ fit a certain price range/quality/performance part of the market which is great, but in terms of all round road and track performance they're not on par with zee germans IMO, i think if GAZ market their stuff as "track day" they'd be more popular. Generally 90% of cliosport are road users and have never seen a track, whereas if they aimed at the 10% of "track day warriors" they'd be recieved well. but do you see why H&R's prove so popular? they can do both road and track well
i'm going off on a bit of a rant here, but i've already aired my views on AST which are generally claimed to be the top dog suspension for a clio on here, they're not IMO, could be perfect if they sorted the front spring/damper rate
fad i maybe one of the so called "loud mouths" on here, so forgive me! Yozzasport (Andrew) knows his stuff when it comes to clios and suspension, when i was there we used to sell GAZ stuff, but due to various issues (main one being having to file out the holes etc) we had a lot of problems with customers complaining about them, and hence we decided to stop selling them, that was the only reason, when you've shipped stuff overseas that doesn't fit it gets awkward!
