v-maxx or k-tec coilovers???

what coilovers should i get?
my cars just for fast road use and an everyday driver so i dont want to go to stiff!
was running standard with ebach springs but want to go alittle lower!
ive got some second hand k-tec ones which i bought on here and they seem good and not to stiff for road use and handle much better! but!!!!! there used and although they are in perfect working order i want new ones because i cant look under the car now seeing rusty suspension!!! sorry im fussy!

Can you not strip the coilovers down and get them blasted and powdercoated? If not sell them on and put the money towards a new set. I have the K-tec ones and think there fine for the road.

Would probably cost more than he could get back if he sold them as they are.

been doing some reading about and dan does the spax full coilover kit! i like the sound of that getting rid of the dampers and seperate spring set up! anyone running this set up?? whats it like for road use??? i dont mind spending more money for a decent set up as long as it aint going to shake my teeth out driving it as they cost me £5000:S

Definitely worth the extra money.
If it's cup packed, Vmaxx over Ktec, because they've been designed differently with the Vmaxx rather than just had the bolt whole changed on Ktec
But if you can jump to Spax's I would!

thats why im tempted!!!very good deal for extra £ for a full coilover set up! will it go as low as the k-tec though? ive got mine sitting where i want it!! mines a cup packed 182. i ran gaz on my escort which was full coilover and even on the softest setting it was to harsh for everyday use! whats the spax like?

just like to say thanks to dan at 519. really nice guy and full of good advice!talks straight and to the point! dan i will sort my slam panel without bonnet catches when the throttle bodies are fitted!!!
