Yeah I'm happy to say it's so close to completion, tell you what if I do Oulton, you do Llandow as well ;-)

So did a bit today -

3m headlight restoration kit in progress - much better

GRP door cards fitted after a lot of trimming -

looks loads better.

Also bought a ghost drift hd camera so needed somewhere handy for the remote control -

I've had a little play with it, quality is superb. Videos will follow soon

Used the Drift Ghost HD the other night, placed the mic under the bonnet, still sounds a little sensetive so I 'll try and turn the sensitivity down for the next time I'm out. Happy with the camera

After reading some reviews on here the mrs and I bought a Nikon D3100. Still learning about the settings on a DLSR but here are some photos of the car after a clean and polish yesterday...

Car passed the MOT yesterday with flying colours :approve:. I stopped in the local weigh bridge on the way back. Stuck it on and it came out at 970kg with just over half a tank of petrol. Was expecting it to be a little lower, but I suppose I have added things back in, such as the cage. Still calculating the weight against the power (183.4bhp) it's just under 190bhp per ton which is a step up from standard.

Car was so much nicer to drive with the cat on, inside was so much quieter. I might leave it on.

Car is now ready for Llandow on Saturday. Must say I'm looking forward

Got a hold of a lightweight battery the other day, installed it under the passanger seat. Got some wiring from maplins, need a couple of connectors to finish it off. I'll let the photos do the talking -

Cheers. Yeah I've noticed that similar specked cars are lighter. Makes me think the weigh bridge round mine over reads? Will be corner weighing it within the next few weeks so will see what she'll be up to

Trying to resolve a knocking issue at the moment. Though it was the Bilsteins the other night while driving. But it's coming from the steering rack. Hopefully new bushes will solve it

Gonna fit a DCI rack with EPAS while I'm there as I believe it's the rack that's gone. Strip it this wknd

Yeah the upper gearbox mount sits under the original battery location. Yeah I was there. Had a blue land rover and trailer?
