v6 for every day use...

Car  MK5 R32
I really fancy a v6, just wondering what there like as an everyday car?what are they like in very slow moving traffic as before and after work im usually in traffic for about an hour. Also running costs and servicing? Another thing holding me back is it wont be in a garage only parked on a drive, worried about it getting nicked/broken into/vandalised. insurance wouldnt be a proplem as ive just got a decent quote whoo hoo!

do it, only a clio at the end o the day, thats what insurance is for!

yeah im sure sevicing wont be that much coz its a renault, would be diffrent if it was a bmw or jag but hey its not as for fuel ... wat would u expect from a 3 litre monster?

Ye i drive a 182 at the moment so carnt see servicing and that been to much different, apart from filling up abit more often lol. how much could i pick up a minter for?

Speak to Fred or Kathy, as they use/used one on a daily basis, Kathy had it from new (mk2) then she & Wayne sold it to Fred.

I only use mine (a blue mk1) at weekends & on the occasional jaunt after work during the week.

The V6 is fine for driving everyday! Fuel consumption might be a problem? im getting between 18-20mpg.
Just as a warning, my mate had a V6 which was garaged. He left it out of the garage for 2 nights & someone stole it off his drive :(

Souldn't see any problem using one everyday apart from the petrol consumption and the worry of leaving it parked anywhere.

I'm in the same predicament with having bought a R27. We dont live in the worst neighbourhood but it will be parked on the street. Thinking of renting a garage...

not as to highjack the post.... u need to think what u will use the car for... and what you maybe carrying around
