V6 mpg

Just wanted to know what you mpg is on your V6 mk1 s & mk2s

And how do you drive them? whats it go down to when you give it some?

I get around 15-19 mph around town and, on a recent motorway trip up the M1 managed 26mph (with a heavy right foot too!)...

If youre asking these sort of questions... maybe the V6 aint the car for you...

Everytime Ive borrowed my mates (hes had both a mk1 & mk2) they were doing teens to the gallon and if you really drive them hard its horrific!

However, with that engine note its hard not to thrash them.

On journeys less than 15 minutes I see an average of 18mpg (not enthusiastic driving), but once the engine is warm, normal driving is usually 19-23mpg.

Any car will see teen figures if you boot it properly :devilish:

Car I drove yesterday had average of 16mpg over the 128 miles itd done since new ... I didnt help with my heavy right foot ;)

Ive not managed better than 22mpg a yet, and my combined average is yet to be higher than 16....Maybe I should review my driving style. It must be the least economical small car in the world to be honest. Good job Im not arsed.
