V6 performance

I recently asked a question about the performance capabilities of the Clio V6 (2004 model), the thread of which which has been removed for some unknown reason.

(In case someone in authority here is very over-sensitive, (I would remind them though, that cars like the 182 and V6 are made to be driven hard) or mega politically correct, can we assume for now, that all driving over 70 mph is done on privately owned roads, on racetracks, or on roads which have no speed limit? Thanks.)

ANYWAY. Try again.

My Clio will rev to the limiter in all gears bar top, which when engaged slows the car slightly, the speedo. showing 156 mph, whatever that is in real terms.

Anyone know what the V6 is supposedly meant to do ?

Whats it like at that speed? The front end certainly goes rather light at anything over 100mph...

Too right. I found myself looking up for the deployed air balloon.

I took mine to 140 and I also thought it was a little light at the front...

Maybe Im too used to driving Escort Cossies at those speeds, as the front & rear spoilers combine to produce +ve downforce - i.e. the faster you drive the more the car is pushed to the road. At high speeds, theyre ultra stable!
