V6 Wheel Nuts...

Are the wheel nuts for the Vee just standard Renault 'Alloy Wheels' wheel nuts? I've noticed a couple of mine have gone a bit rusty on top and been really vain, I think I might have to replace them :) Or can I get covers for them perhaps? I remember my old 206 had little plastic caps over the wheel nuts... not unlike these -

I can't remember how big my nuts (ho ho ho) are and it's raining outside - are they indeed 19mm?

Cheers

The V6 ones are the same as the old ones used on the mk1's but they're s**t and strech easily

they have a floating collar which is rubbish

i painted mine black

They're like, 6 years old now, should I be replacing them anyway? It's the only thing I can find that's not mint about my Vee now hehe - well, once I've replaced the drivers side grab handle anyway (it's a bit minged).

Oh P.s. Fred - do you have to know the 'nut' size off hand?

Cheers :)

Too true - caps it is I guess. I need some nice side on photos of a Vee now to shop and decide if I want silver or black :)

If you say they're for a vee, they'll probably charge you a fiver per bolt.

Only if you're lucky enough to have renault monkeys that realise there is such thing as a Clio V6...
