value of 04 clio cup

  peugeot 205,fiesta xr2
Was hoping someone on here could help, im a mechanic and at my work there is a light blue(not sure what the shade is called) january 2004 clio cup 172 with 6000 miles on it and not even a stonechip on it. My work is looking £8495 and I should be able to get it for just under £8000 does this sound a right price for the year of the car also is the any major faults with these cars I could look for when i throw it up on the ramp on monday

Cheers Mark..

Thats not that bad pricsy but I'd buy an older one or with more miles personally you can pick them up for a few grand less.

Trade in was probably £7k though.

Racing Blue is the colour.

Have you got the dark coloured wheels and spoliers.

Also is it the Cup (with cloth seats) or FF (with half leather seats and climate control)

im 25 with 5 years ncb and paying 500 quid including declaring my induction kit, remap, coilovers and s/s exhaust, with 250 excess and protected no claims so 1400 seems a tad too much imo

i was going to say, the first 182's were March 04 (unless it was a press car etc) and the cup wasn't available at launch then, it was later in the year.
