Valve failure at 7500rpm.

There's a reason a race base looks like that. It's expected it'll be taken and all the interior thrown in the bin anyway (would have thought being a cup owner that thought would have crossed your mind with yours ;) ) then replaced with a bride bucket, takata's and a cage then off to play. Why pay more for the recaro's, red carpets etc if you plan to strip it anyway. Common sense ;)

Alright alright! lol ;)

Tbf I've heard of the race base ones but never actually seen one like that before which shocked me! Granted if it made it cheaper then fair play, still far too much interior/other bits in there for me! ;)

Great idea. Shame other manufacturers don't adopt the same logic.

So forgive me if I'm wrong, it was setup and mapped to 7350rpm and you thought it would be just fine to raise it the rev limit more? Without adjusting anything like timing/fueling all the other parts you do calibrationwise etc etc?

Yes its fine, the ign timing is identical at top end, 30 degrees. Fuelling is mapped in the table to 8000rpm and beyond (even though the engine will never go there). Of course it wont be perfect but you can make a pretty edcuated guess to the fuelling at 7500rpm if you know what it is at 7350rpm, the difference is so neglidgable its abit petty really.
