Valver 1500rpm at Idle

How can i manually reduce my idle from 1500rpm to the acceptable 900/1000rpm.

Reason being MOT tomorrow and that sort of tick over ain't gona help the Emissions. Any quick solutions?
Removed the tamper proof cap on top of the throttle body yesterday to adjust the screw but it was already at its mininum.

Let me know if you got any ideas

they measure emmisons at "fast idle" which is around 3000 rpm so I wouldn't worry about it

clean the iscv.

There is a screw opn the top of the throttle body this alos adjusts the idle.

The mot measures idle(must be below 1krpm) and fast idle(2500-3000).

take your dash off, re earth the speedo cable, its a very common problem, just add a bit of wire to the earth on the cable and put it on a bolt or something behind the dash thats in metal
