Valver bearing Q

G'day

ive got to change the bearings in the front...where are they?

are they pressed into the brake disk???

is the a step by step instruction to do the job?

No there in the hub on the fronts. You need to remove the hub, someone posted a guide up not long ago in your other thread have a look there.

A back street garage would do it for half hours labour

yup, best way is to remove the hub yourself if you can and take it to a garage. Usually they will press the old one out and a new one in for a tenner, so only about £30 all in to replace the bearing as it shoudl only be about £20/25 for the bearing.

ive just rung a local parts shop who do the bearings for £16...not bad me thinks?
