just wanted to know 2/ questions

1/ if i was to buy cams, pulleys , followers

all thoughts kind of thinks

would it make much diffrents in power and would i notic it

2/ do fse power boost valve work i mean do you find they help the car permance or just a waste of money

Think general opinion is 1. YES and 2.NO.

Ive got new cams/followers for my Valver and that with headwork is next step if I dont go for 2.0 route. Had many failures sourcing a reasonably priced F7R so you either do the 1.8 to the max inc Cams and Headwork to get most from them or 2.0 and have a better torque based power delivery.

Good idea to get cams done at cambelt change time as shouldnt cost too much more in Labour terms.

I know in general most people dont think the PBVs work, but there are a few of us that believe they do.

I got mine set up properly and was definately an improvement....

Just like the ecotek. Mine gives me better mpg and seems smoother but people diss it.

PBVs are rubbish...they dont do anything a ECU remap wouldnt do better.

Theres also the fact theyve got a habit of blowing fuel pipes off periodically if not checked, the fact the need setup on a RR, the fact youll have more fuel piping running accross an already very hot engine

Keep your money for a chip - get a s/h one and itll be cheaper!

welll iam running a 2wd escort cossie fpr and its the best thing on my engine its so user friendly and i got the fueling spot on. as for FSE items i had one on my last car and had no problems with it as for extra fuel pipes the renault items are sh*t so i suggest you re route them any way with stainless items.as for cams you will notice the diff i cammened my 16v and chipped it a it made 151 bhp. i can supply cams or FSE power boost valves althogh id recomend the cossie item.
