Valver ECU help

Hi people,
Just need to know if there is only 1 ecu in valvers and does this control the airbag and seatbelt pre-tensioners? Cheers, Matt

the seatbelt pretensioners have their own little control box under the centre consol. This has a sensor in it that judges if there is a major deceleration (front impact) im guessing it might be connected to the ecu in some way, the airbag will use a simular system

Lol, yes mate, cheers. Thanks to GuyS for pic My airbag and pre-tensioners have already been set off, so I am looking to just do the pre-tensioners myself, but don't know whether i'll have to replace the control modules? Renault quoted me 1k to fit new airbag pre-tens and control modules, don't think so some how!

Youll have to replace the control module on steering wheel and new airbag but only new tensioners. 1k is way too much though. Put a post on the wanted section for what you need-you may get lucky, then all you need is a haynes manual!
