lookin into gettin a valver engine put into my 1.2. is it easy enough done?:dapprove:

i think you have to change quite alot mate like...custom engine mounts
then all you exhasut etc and then suspension and brakes to help cope
a 1.4 gtt lump might be a better option

i thought it just dropped straight in using all valver components?
I know that your gunna need a valver fuel pump tho!
Also brakes, suspension, driveshafts, mounts??
Aparently u dont need to swap the subframe, i was guna do it with my 1.2 ph3 but i just bought a valver hybrid instead lol.

Custom mounts, LMFAO.....
Will need the engine, box, not sure about the subframe, loom, front suspension set up, valver (or better) front brakes, don't worry about rears, useful to get oil dials, fuel pump, ECU, think you'll be ok wiht driveshafts, think you might need valver hubs though, valver bonnet, and so hence ph1/2 front lights, radiator(?), obvoulsy all the encilaries, mounts, alternator, inlet/exhaust manifold, downpipe etc etc, might also pay to geta valver exhaust, iirc its a larger bore

ost wise it woudl be cheaper to get a valver, but depends what you have done to the 1.2 shell and whether you want to doan engine conversion or not

cheers for the help!seems a right mission. i was just wondering cuz i want to spend money on my car now and get some stuff for it cuz i have gag to buy! but it isnt really worth it in a 1.2 so i figured i could get a valver engine?! but whatever i buy for mine should near enough go straight into a valver surely? cuz they're pretty much the same? im not really bothered about wheels etc, but i want a roll cage....but it would be a waste of money for a 1.2!? apart from i think it looks good. but if i got a valver id imagine it'd go in?
and id get quite a bit of money for my 1.2, its 98 r and done 27000 miles!
im just thinking of things for the future!! but you know u sya something then the next day you change your mind!!
