Valver Fuel Pump

This is the buzzin noice you hear when you put the ignition on right? Just had a thought, ive lost power and every now and again when i turn the ignition on instead of a plesent buz noice i get a horrible buzz/crackle strugle sound. Is my fuel pump on its last legs?

can be a sign that pump is on way out, but they get really, really loud before they do go. Change your fuel filter (fairly easy once you have arse oif car in up on axle stands/ramps) to prolong pump, new one is circa 100 squid

Looks like im gunna have to get me a new one! I should have a new filter in already cus ive just had a service.
