Valver + GTI (25+ pics)

To celebrate the fact that after over one year of searching my mate finally found a mint 106 GTI, we gave them both a clean and went and took some pictures along with my rickety old bus. Heres a few of the nicer ones:

nice pics!

Anyone else think the rear mudgaurds on the 106 look abit strange?

Cheers guys, always good to hear nice comments.

Not sure whos is quickest yet, gtis come with 120bhp standard and mine has been rr'd at 133 but having been for a serious blast in his i think his will easily match the valver for pace if not be quicker. His definately doesnt have as much grunt at higher speeds though, 0-60 id probably get whooped, but if you were to push the speeds well past illegal i think the valver would have the edge with its longer legs.

My mate is in a serious dilemma as to whether to lower it or not, sometimes it looks like the car is spot on, then others it looks too high.
Same story with the mudflaps too.

Raceland/Simota induction kit is planned for it along with full manifold, and decat'd pugsport zorst system, which should see it producing around the 140-145 mark and seriously quick with it.
