valver head

I've been following the haynes manual and removed all the parts listed but the head still won't come off. Does anyone have any tips on how to get this thing off???

hit it from side to side to loosen it.. its probbaly been bolted down for 10 years??

use a rubber mallet tho, not a normaly hammer!!!!

Have you taken the bolt out that holds the exhaust manifold to the bracket on the block?
