Valver oil temp and pressure guage n/w

havent got the car yet but know they are not working. what do i need to look for please?

which ones? the level only works on start up.
the temp and level ones are in the bottom of the block near the dipstick tube.
the pressure is on the back of the engine cambelt side. usually the connector falls off.

its only the pressure so hoping its the connector has fallen off!
