Chances are "a small bit of rust" is going to be a disclaimer, so when you turn up, and say "f**k me theres a massive gaping hole in the rear quarter" he can come back with "I told you so"

Just ask for close up pictures of the rear arches, or the rust they are on about before you leave to go and look at it.....

Ive asked for pictures on the rust, underneath of the car as well as some other parts, he says the handbrake needs tightening or a new cable for it to pass the MOT as well.... hmmmmm

The thing is, with a new MOT its worth double what he's asking.

So why's he not bothered??

hes got a new car, and hes selling the valver to get some alloys for it :S

bet the sills/jacking points have gone on it hense no mot.
dont worry about surface rust on the arches most have bubbles nowerdays.........
