valver racer engine mounts?

A common problem i know and there are many posts about the engine mounts.

All my mounts are fine. The dog bone mount isnt too bad either but im still not happy with the movement im getting.

Ive been told that the racers years ago had an extra mount added on the bottom on the front of the engine onto the subframe. Any body else heard or seen this?

Yep its the Renault 192 engine gearbox mount same as the 172/182 today use. The holes are predrilled on the gearbox and subframe . You take the passenger side wheel off and where the gearbox and subframe are close thats where the mount goes.

R 19 mount is what you want...got one on mine

i'll look into it, last time i looked i dont remember any holes in the subframe around there, i'll have to look again!

If you do manage to find some pre-drilled holes, and you find somewhere selling a mount, i'd love to hear about it. I'm sick of my valver engine/gearstick rocking about as well!
