valver rear bumper smoothing, HELP!

has any body removed the plastic bump strip around the top of the valver bumper?

As far as i can see, the bumper seems to be a single peice of moulded plastic, with this as part of it. For those with fully smoothed rear bumpers, what did you do about the bump strip?

you cant remove the strip, as its moulded in.
sorry, i dont know about smoothing it.

thats what i thought! can the front (sticky out part!) be cut, and you fill in the space it leaves?

Couldnt you just smooth over the strip?
